What is the catch on price?

None. Flat monthly, billed per rooftop, or annually at roughly 20% less. The Founder cohort gets Core at $249/mo and Pro at $499/mo, any lot size, rate locked for 24 months; when the cohort closes, the standing ladder is $499 and $699. No per-lead charges on any tier and no surprise increases; Canadian dealers are billed in CAD and US dealers in USD. Nothing on any tier sells rank: paid features make your inventory more matchable and show you the channel, never buy placement.

What does Free actually get me?

Your used inventory listed with clean, structured, AI-readable pages that carry real vehicle facts and full schema, and discoverable through the VIN Index agent network. Your feed syncs in real time, so a sold unit or a changed price is never advertised stale. When an agent digs into one of your cars, enrichment runs on that car and you can watch it happen. What Free does not include: always-on enrichment on every vehicle, tracked queries, syndication feeds, or CRM delivery. That is the citation product, and it is what Core is for.

Why is real-time sync free?

Because stale inventory is a compliance problem, not a feature. A price or an availability flag that is wrong is wrong on every tier, and we are not going to sell a dealer a slower version of accuracy. Every rooftop syncs in real time, free ones included.

Why is Founder Pro the same price as standing Core?

Because that is the offer. The founder cohort exists to get the network dense enough to be worth querying, and the honest way to pay for that is to give the first rooftops the top tier at the price everyone else will pay for the middle one. It closes on November 15, 2026.

How long does founder pricing last?

Founder pricing is open until November 15, 2026. Check out before October 1, 2026 and your rate is locked for two years; after that, until November 15, 2026, it is locked for one year. The price is the same in both windows: only the lock term decays, and the window you land in is fixed by the day you check out, not the day you sign up. The lock holds as long as your subscription stays active; when it ends you move to the standing price, and we email you 30 days before that happens. Cancel and come back later and you rejoin at whatever pricing is current. We publish a date rather than a rooftop count because you can check a date.

Why does Pro have a waitlist?

Because Pro rooftops get hands-on setup: custom domain, the query set you actually care about, financing configured for your lenders. That is done properly a few dealers at a time or not at all. Applying costs nothing and commits you to nothing. If you would rather not wait, Founder Core is open today at $249/mo and you can move up when a spot opens.

Who gets the lead?

You do. VIN Index is not a marketplace and never surrounds your vehicle with competitors' listings. When a buyer reaches your vehicle on your surface, the inquiry lands in your CRM with the AI source attached.

What about new vehicles?

New inventory is a separate program. A new car is identical at every same-brand store, so splitting the enrichment across dealers helps nobody. Instead, one dealer per brand per market holds the new-vehicle territory, from $700/mo on top of a used tier. First come, first held. To be precise about what that buys: the territory holder gets the enriched merchandising layer, meaning the built-out model pages, the market-answer page, the syndication, the concentrated authority. It does not delist anyone: a non-territory dealer's new cars still list as facts-only pages and stay agent-discoverable, the same free-versus-paid data split as used. Nobody can pay us to hide your inventory. If you want the enriched layer for your brand in your market, talk to us before your competitor does.
